What Neighbors Look for in an HVAC Company
Customer feedback can tell you a lot about how an HVAC company communicates, shows up, explains options, and treats the property during service. Murray HVAC, Inc. serves Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Northbrook, and nearby North Shore communities with heating, cooling, boiler, air quality, and zoning support. When you’re deciding who to call for AC repair, furnace service, boiler work, or indoor comfort help, reviews can help you understand the service experience behind the technical work.

What Good HVAC Feedback Usually Mentions
Strong customer feedback often focuses on more than the repair itself.
- Clear communication: Customers want to know what is happening and why.
- Reliable scheduling: Timely service matters when heat or AC is down.
- Respectful technicians: Care for the home matters during every visit.
- Problem solving: Helpful service explains repair, replacement, and maintenance options.
Murray installed not only a new furnace but also a new air conditioner. It took 2 guys 3 days to do the job since we have a very cramped space. They came on time, they were exceptionally tidy, and everything went without a hitch. There were no hidden charges. We've lived in this house for 40+ years, and we use Murray exclusively. Feel confident they will do the job.
Murray HVAC has been timely, responsive, professional, and super informative. They have never tried to sell us on something we didn’t need. They know our house better than we do since they have served previous owners, which gives me confidence when dealing with a 100-yr old house. When our furnace went out, they came out quickly on a weekend to check it out and had a new furnace in within no time!
We called up Murray HVAC a couple days ago for a second opinion after our furnace wouldn't kick on. Apart from our estimate being lower, the experience with their technician was night and day. The first guy walked in and just told us we needed to replace everything. With Murray, their tech, Cory, came out and walked us through the diagnostic process. He explained all of our options and seemed more like a concerned neighbor helping out, rather than a pushy salesman. Our new furnace and all the ductwork looks and runs fantastic.
I highly recommend Murray HVAC. I had them perform my winter check up. They changed or adjusted a sensor and I saved a significant amount on my heating bill this last year. My AC just went out and their original diagnosis was a bad compressor so I would have had to replace my split AC. The next day they let me know that they wanted to come out again to confirm the evaluation. They were here for quite a while and it was determined that I just needed a new capacitor and some freon. While not a cheap fix they saved me thousands on a needless AC replacement.
